In the evening, we’ll kick things off with a warm, welcoming dinner that sets the tone for an unforgettable journey.

It’s time to start acclimating! We’ll head to the beautiful Sacred Valley to explore the historical sites of Pisaq and Ollantaytambo (9,160' elevation). It’s a perfect day to soak up some culture while getting used to the altitude. After that, we’ll do a quick gear check to make sure you’re all set for the adventure ahead.

The trail climbs from Mollepata through beautiful pastures and farming lands, offering some stunning views along the way. Set out for a challenging hike from Lucmabamba to Llaqtapata, where you’ll catch a unique view of Machu Picchu’s lesser-known side. Then, it’s off to the train station for a scenic ride on the Vistadome to Aguas Calientes. You’ll end the day in luxury at the tranquil Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel, nestled in lush tropical gardens.

It’s time to explore the legendary Machu Picchu with a guided tour! If you’re up for it, there’s an optional hike to Huayna Picchu (8,850') for some amazing aerial views of the ruins.
